Job Title: Software Developer & Platform Engineer – Python / C++ / KDB/q
Client: Elite Tech Firm
Salary: $150,000-$250,000 CAD + Bonus

An Elite FinTech Firm is looking for highly talented Software Developers with good Platform fundamentals of all experience levels to join an elite group in group of individuals.
This team have an unlimited tech budget, promote a great culture and are made up of fantastic like-minded individuals.
Role:
- Working as part of a team of engineers looking after and building a zero-down time low latency infrastructure
- Automating anything and everything
- Working heavily with Kubernetes
- Building CI/CD pipelines for a scale rarely seen elsewhere
- Implementing best DevOps practices
Skills:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Competent programmer in either Python, C++ or KDB/q – a Developer first, a Platform Engineer second
- Knowledge of some of the following: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, CI/CD, Docker, Prometheus etc
- Experience with packet management / image building
- C++ library management
- Experience working with Quants highly desirable
- Experience working with HPC and associated technologies highly desirable
- Experience working with eBPF highly desirable

Build and maintain zero-downtime, low-latency infrastructure as part of an engineering team, with a strong focus on Kubernetes. Automate systems and processes, build large-scale CI/CD pipelines, and implement DevOps best practices.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of experience in a similar role and strong programming ability in Python, C++, or KDB/q, with a developer-first orientation. Familiarity with platform tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, CI/CD, Docker, or Prometheus is sought; experience with quants, HPC, or eBPF is highly desirable.
