Original job description

Logistics Coordinator & Administrative Assistant

Hydra-Slide, an HT Company
Location: Guelph, Ontario

Hydra-Slide, an HT company, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator & Administrative Assistant to support our growing operation in Guelph, Ontario.

Hydra-Slide is a global leader in innovative load-moving and heavy transport solutions. Our products are used around the world to safely and efficiently move some of the industry's most challenging loads. As part of HT, Hydra-Slide continues to grow while maintaining the collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that has contributed to its success.

We're looking for an organized, adaptable, and hands-on team player who enjoys variety in their workday and is willing to step in wherever help is needed. This role combines shipping coordination, logistics administration, inventory support, quality documentation, and warehouse assistance in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Approximately 75% of the role is office-based, with the remaining 25% supporting warehouse activities.

What You'll Do

Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, commercial invoices, packing slips, and bills of lading.
Work with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange shipments and deliveries.
Track shipments and provide delivery updates and tracking information.
Perform data entry related to shipping, inventory, and serial number management.
Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records within business systems.
Assist with inventory counts and inventory management activities.
Support QA/QC documentation and product preparation for shipment.
Help maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
Provide administrative support and assist multiple departments as needed.
Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, administration, inventory control, or a related field preferred.
Experience preparing customs or international shipping documentation is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable managing a significant amount of data entry and documentation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexible, dependable, and willing to support different areas of the business.
Team-oriented individual who enjoys collaborating with others and solving problems.

We are less concerned with finding the "perfect" candidate and more interested in someone who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and willing to contribute wherever the business needs support.

Why Join Hydra-Slide?

Be part of a recognized leader in heavy transport and load-moving equipment solutions.
Join a growing business backed by the resources and stability of HT.
Enjoy a role with variety and exposure to multiple aspects of the operation.
Work in a collaborative environment where flexibility, teamwork, and initiative are valued.
Learn and grow while supporting a unique and innovative product line.

Schedule & Location

Onsite position based in Guelph, Ontario.
Typically 4-5 days per week onsite.
Flexible scheduling based on operational requirements and business needs.

Ready to join a growing team where your contributions make an impact? We'd love to hear from you. Apply today and discover your future with Hydra-Slide.
