Original job description

Customer Sales Representative

Hype Events | Midtown, Toronto

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Compensation: $41,000 - $45,000

About Hype Events

At Hype Events, we bring brands into the real world. Through event marketing, B2B and B2C campaigns, and face-to-face brand representation, we help businesses connect with people through meaningful conversations.

Our approach combines care, honesty, energy, and personality - because how we represent a brand matters.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Customer Sales Representative who enjoys meeting people, understanding their needs, and turning conversations into sales.

You’ll represent our clients during face-to-face campaigns, explain their products and services, and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversations with potential customers during client campaigns.
Ask questions and listen carefully to understand customer needs.
Explain products, services, pricing, and offers clearly and accurately.
Answer questions and address concerns respectfully.
Guide interested customers through the sales and sign-up process.
Work towards individual and team sales goals.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
Share customer feedback with the team to help improve campaign delivery.

Qualifications

Strong communication and active listening skills.
A friendly, professional approach to meeting new people.
Comfort initiating conversations, discussing products, and asking for a sale.
Reliability, organisation, and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn, respond to feedback, and contribute to team goals.
Previous sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.

Why Hype Events?

Our work is built around people, performance, and progress. We value honest communication, positive energy, and the care that goes into every customer interaction.

If you enjoy working with others, representing brands with confidence, and seeing how your effort contributes to results, we’d like to hear from you.
