Summary

The Planner Paint Shop is responsible for optimizing the implementation deadlines and production resources of the Paint Shop.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain reports to track activities’ progress and delivery performance
• In support of production meetings, create reports and matrix updates
• Ensure all documents are up to date.
• Follow up on various compliance and technical files (i.e., compliance with instructions, technical responses, non-conformances, procedures, etc.)
• Create a production sequence for the paint application per aircraft (using MS Office Excel, or other appropriate software), based on data provided by the Production Manager Paint Shop
• Filled paint shop production method.
• Conduct thorough analysis of paint shop processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions (newly added by Helene)
• Define and describe work instructions for production to be used as Standard Operating Procedures
• Create shipping notices for items to be returned to the manufacturer or stored at another location

Requirements

• DEC/DEP/Trade School.
• 2 years of aircraft mechanic, avionic or sheet metal experience
• 2 years of planning experience
• Good computer skills (MS Office Suite)
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Adept at optimizing resources .
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
