Software Developer - Intermediate

Onsite
Must Have:
5+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications
5+ year of hands-on working experience of Java development with Oracle or SQL database
2+ years of hands-on experience of RestAPI, RESTful WebServices
Experience using Azure DevOps
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging
• Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards • Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
Additional Skills for Oracle Software Developer:
• Experience in conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
• Strong conversion experience in Account Receivable Collection modules
• Strong programming skills in Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts and Oracle Data Integrator
• Proved business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business
• Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV and FND
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse, ETL methodologies and OBIEE
• Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to be able to oversee the quality assurance of the project from technical perspective

Responsibilities
Design and develop large-scale, multi-client web applications, including Java applications integrated with Oracle or SQL databases and RESTful services. Support Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions through impact assessments, conversions, technical troubleshooting, documentation, and quality assurance oversight.
Requirements
Must have at least five years of experience designing and developing large-scale web applications, five years of hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL databases, and two years of REST API or RESTful web services experience. Azure DevOps experience is required; additional Oracle E-Business, PL/SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and communication experience is desirable.
