Support underwriters with adverse selection cases referred by the Claims department, assess cases involving deaths that occur during the underwriting process, and act as a reasonable underwriter in certain disputed cases brought before the courts.
Leverage your expertise and feedback from claims to recommend improvements to underwriting processes and rules, while considering their impact on partner teams, including Policyholder Services, Marketing, and Actuarial.
Lead various underwriting improvement initiatives and support the teams involved throughout change management.
Collaborate with underwriters from the Partnerships, Improvements and Operations team on various initiatives, including the assessment of complex cases, educational initiatives, and presentations for the sales force.
Actively contribute to accelerating and automating underwriting by enhancing rules and processes and participating in the implementation of new technologies.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

Is recognized for their ability to explain complex concepts clearly, share their expertise, and provide constructive and effective feedback.
