ICM Asset Management is an alternative asset manager focused on owning, operating and investing in real assets. We offer retail, private client and institutional Advisors an array of investment opportunities focused on real estate, private debt, and music royalties.

We are seeking a Junior Inside Sales professional to help grow relationships with prospective and existing Advisors through outreach, timely follow-up, and responsive service. Based in Calgary and reporting to the Managing Director, Sales, this role works closely with the sales team and wholesalers to identify prospects, respond to incoming interest, arrange conversations, and keep sales activity current in HubSpot. It is an opportunity for someone early in or changing their career to learn ICM’s investment products and build a career in investment sales. The role requires occasional travel to support sales activity.

Responsibilities:

Advisor Prospecting and Sales Follow-up
Research and identify prospective Advisors and initiate outbound outreach by phone and email in coordination with the sales team
Respond to inbound sales inquiries, qualify interest, and connect Advisors with the appropriate member of the sales team
Follow up with leads and prospective Advisors after calls, meetings, and events to maintain momentum and identify next steps
Support wholesalers with prospect and Advisor follow-up and help coordinate outreach priorities
Schedule meetings and calls between the sales team and prospective or current Advisors
Track and manage sales pipelines and Advisor inquiries using CRM systems such as HubSpot
Record outreach, conversations, relationship details, and next steps accurately in HubSpot
Advisor Service and Product Knowledge
Respond to Advisor inquiries regarding investment products, documentation, and account status
Learn ICM’s products, investment materials, and sales processes to communicate accurately with Advisors and refer complex product or suitability questions to the appropriate team member
Provide timely, professional follow-up and build positive relationships with Advisors and internal sales partners
Sales Coordination
Generate and distribute internal reports related to sales activity, pipeline updates, and capital raises
Assist with compliance tracking, due diligence requests, and audit support
Support coordination of Advisor events, webinars, and roadshows

Qualifications:

Required:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High degree of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Interest in investment sales and a willingness to learn about ICM’s products and the Advisor market
Comfort initiating professional conversations by phone and email and following up consistently
Ability to build rapport, listen to Advisor needs, and communicate clearly without overstating product information
Professionalism and discretion when working with confidential information
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
Valid passport; ability to travel

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Exposure to investment management, real estate, or financial services
Experience using CRM tools
Prior experience supporting a sales or client service team
Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome to apply
Experience in customer service, outreach, prospecting, or a sales-focused role, including internships or part-time work
Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM, or a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly

Requirements
