Our services include dementia and Alzheimer’s care, companionship, respite care, personal care, meal assistance, awake overnight care, and palliative support. Caregivers may also support clients with range-of-motion exercises, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to appointments. Role Description As a Personal Support Worker, you will make a meaningful difference in clients’ daily lives by providing respectful, hands-on care in their homes or care facilities. You will support personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while helping to maintain each client’s comfort, safety, dignity, and independence. You will also provide companionship; assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding; and support range-of-motion and basic exercise activities as outlined in individual care plans. Additional responsibilities may include light housekeeping, laundry, organizing the home environment, and accompanying clients to medical appointments or community outings. Success in this role requires accurate care documentation, clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, and supervisors, consistent adherence to care plans and safeguarding protocols, and effective collaboration with other members of the care team.
