Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly financial analysis and reporting for Canadian real estate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Support quarterly and annual financial statements, consolidation entries, and general ledger adjustments.
- Collaborate with asset-level finance teams to review subsidiary results, resolve accounting discrepancies, and prepare fair value reports.
- Coordinate external audits, manage documentation requests, and assist with annual pension financial statements.
- Research and document complex transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
- Contribute to accounting policy updates, reporting enhancements, and process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial operations.
Qualifications
- Canadian CPA designation
- 3-5 years of experience specializing in audit & assurance
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
