Join our team to engage in continuous learning and skill development in a supportive environment. Experience the best of both worlds with our hybrid work environment, where you spend three days a week in the office, connecting, collaborating, and enjoying quality time with your amazing colleagues! Our Values: Be better; we strive for improvement in everything we do. Be accountable; we foster clarity and are empowered to act responsibly. Be a team; we are united to drive collective impact to achieve our goals.
The Role: As the Senior Manager, Business Development, you will be a hands-on, internally focused member of the Business Development team. You will lead the planning and delivery of advisor acquisition activities, with a primary focus on IG’s Enterprise Acquisition Offers (EAOs). You will turn functional priorities into clear objectives and operational plans. You will also apply advanced financial, business development, recruitment, and project management expertise to achieve measurable results.
Reporting to the SVP, Business Development, Western Canada, you will oversee end-to-end EAO planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination for opportunities sourced by Area Vice-Presidents. You will build complex financial proposals and assess whether practices are viable to move to IG. You will also set priorities, address complex operational issues, and adapt processes to support consistent, high-quality, and timely onboarding outcomes across the Field Network and Head Office.
You will also support the sourcing, assessment, and onboarding of high-calibre financial advisors. With external advisors, you will use consultative selling and high-touch relationship management to communicate IG’s value proposition. You will help advisors see where their practice or approach may need to change, and you will secure commitments. Internally, you will educate and influence partners on when changes or exceptions to policies should be considered. You will also help shape marketing materials that better share the IG story.
