Job Description - Must Have Valid Ontario Drivers License

Evening Light Duty Cleaning Position available in Guelph. 4:00pm start time

Duties And Responsibilities

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. ServiceMaster Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.

General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
Emptying garbage and recycling
Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
Sanitizing touchpoints
Additional tasks as requested
Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies

Qualifications

Communicate in English both written and verbally
Strong attention to detail
Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
Works well independently and in a team environment
Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

WORKING CONDITIONS

There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.

Compensation: $18.25 per hour

Responsibilities

Perform light-duty commercial cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washroom cleaning, waste removal, surface and glass cleaning, and sanitizing touchpoints. Provide attentive service to clients, follow workplace safety policies, and complete additional cleaning tasks as requested.

Requirements

A valid Ontario driver's license is required, along with written and verbal English communication skills and strong attention to detail. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks, and able to work flexibly both independently and as part of a team; commercial cleaning experience is beneficial.
