WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
IKEA Canada is expanding in the Hamilton area, and we're building up our Fulfilment Operations Team for our new Customer Distribution Centre.
This exciting opportunity allows you to be part of a new operation from the ground up, helping ensure products are received, stored, picked, and delivered efficiently to customers. As a member of our Fulfilment Operations team, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless customer experience while supporting the growth of IKEA's omnichannel business across the region.
• Demonstrated experience operating warehouse and material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift experience is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused omnichannel retail environment.
• Proven ability to follow operational procedures, action plans, and established work methods while delivering consistent results.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.

As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for receiving, replenishing, picking, and preparing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. By working together and putting safety and quality first, you will help ensure every product reaches our customers on time, contributing to an exceptional IKEA experience.
• Perform effectively the core and support processes in the assigned area of responsibility, using the available systems and tools that support efficient operations and data integrity.
• Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time execution of the assigned fulfilment unit operations area of responsibility.
• Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and business requirements within the area of responsibility and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
• Ensure optimised daily fulfilment unit operations within the assigned area of responsibility by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way, applying and sharing good examples.
