Job Description: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support business decisions through meaningful insights derived from data. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends and patterns, support strategic decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing data processes and recommend improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain data integrity and quality across all systems and reports.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Excel.
- Experience with at least one data visualization tool, such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and data modeling.
