Role Title: Python Developer (Database Focus)
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-12 Months contract with possible extension
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong database development and optimization experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, writing efficient database queries, and supporting data-driven solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in database design, performance tuning, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Experience with REST APIs and backend system integration.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes.
