Working closely with an experienced CFO, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial and payroll processes while supporting multiple business operations.

- Reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and month-end balances; prepare journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare tax remittances, manage AP/AR, hotel deposits, tenant accounts, and monthly statements.
- Reconcile cash and ATM transactions, manage credit card chargebacks, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process semi-monthly head-office and bi-weekly site payroll for union and non-union employees.
- Maintain payroll records and remit union dues, garnishments, WCB, and EHT.
- Administer group benefits, RRSP, and TFSA programs; respond to employee inquiries and ensure deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of accounting knowledge, practical payroll experience, and strong organizational skills.
- 4+ years’ hands-on experience in both accounting and payroll administration.

- Practical payroll processing experience, ideally supporting both union and non-union employees.
- Experience with Payworks is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct is an asset.

- Bonus: Discretionary bonus opportunity.
- Vacation: Three weeks annually.
- Extended Health Benefits: 100% employer-paid after three months.
- Retirement Savings: 1% RRSP matching, with additional employer contributions.
- Additional Perks: Hotel discounts, on-site parking, and education support.
