Join a well established mid-sized law firm in downtown Vancouver looking to add on a junior litigation associate to their busy practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard working and eager lawyer looking to gain excellent courtroom and litigation experience across a diverse range of practice areas, in a firm that focuses on providing the mentorship, resources, and opportunity to establish your own practice as you continue to grow in expertise.

Compensation

$113,000 - $142,000, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

Independently handle smaller files from open to close while assisting senior lawyers on a diverse range of complex disputes, ranging from commercial disputes, insurance liability issues, real estate disputes, personal injury matters, estate litigation, and more
Appear in court and contribute to hearings and other litigation processes (meaningful courtroom / trial exposure is expected)

Qualifications

Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
1 - 3 years of post call experience with a focus on general litigation
Excellent drafting and interpersonal communication skills
Willing and eager to learn and engage with the work!
