Ready to take your construction career on the road? Join a safety-first general contractor delivering large-scale commercial projects across Canada, with competitive compensation, a 10-on/4-off rotation, and the opportunity to play a key role in fast-paced builds while working alongside an experienced site leadership team.

About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, safety-first general contractor delivering large-scale commercial and light industrial projects across Canada. They’re known for combining big-project capability with a tight-knit, accountable team culture and strong repeat business.

About the Opportunity

The shifts will be 10 on and 4 off.

About the Position
As the Assistant Site Superintendent, you will support on-site delivery by coordinating subcontractors, tracking progress against the schedule, maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship, and helping remove roadblocks before they impact timelines. You’ll work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager team, and you’ll be trusted to run areas of the site independently as you ramp up.

  • Strong understanding of site logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination
  • Safety-first mindset with the confidence to enforce site standards
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with trades, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Comfortable assisting with schedule tracking, day plans, and coordination meetings
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Skilled Trade Certification is an asset
  • Ability to travel extensively within Canada. Current projects are throughout Ontario

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000–$110,000 depending on experience
  • Travel rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off
  • Flights covered by the company
  • Living out allowances while travelling:

    • Lodging: $115/day (paid on days off as well)
    • 15% salary uplift while on the job until completion
    • Meals: $69/day (paid on working days only)
  • Car rental allowance
