Observability Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC, Canada (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Observability Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Loki to design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions across public and private cloud environments.
The candidate will work with DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve application performance, reliability, and availability.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Observability, Logging, and Monitoring.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Loki.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, AKS, or EKS.
- Experience with Dashboards, Alerts, Metrics, Logs, and Distributed Tracing.
- CI/CD integration and automation using Python, Bash, YAML, JSON, or Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and databases (MySQL, DB2, MSSQL).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Observability Platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Implement Logging, Monitoring, Metrics, and Distributed Tracing solutions.
- Configure Grafana dashboards, Prometheus monitoring, OpenTelemetry, and Loki.
- Monitor cloud-native applications and Kubernetes environments.
- Integrate observability tools with CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate monitoring solutions and improve application reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Security teams.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
