Salary:$88,200 - $130,500

Position Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System in compliance with customer-specific requirements, ISO 9001:2015, and IATF 16949:2016. This position provides leadership and direction to the Quality Department and coordinates continual improvement activities throughout the organization.

The Quality Manager provides leadership and support for critical quality processes including Corrective Action, Control of Non-Conformance, Risk Assessment, PFMEA, and Engineering Change. The role is responsible for ensuring the Quality function effectively supports customer requirements, operational objectives, and company goals.

About You

Lead and develop a large Quality team in a manufacturing environment.
Coordinate multiple quality activities and priorities effectively.
Make decisions related to quality, non-conformance, and production control.
Identify and address risks that may impact product quality or customer requirements.
Work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Customers, and Suppliers.
Support continual improvement and drive accountability for quality performance.
Communicate quality requirements clearly throughout the organization.
Work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.

Education & Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Quality Assurance Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of related experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems
Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements
Experience with Quality Core Tools including PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC
Experience with Guage R&R, capability studies/Cpk, and 8D Corrective Actions

Knowledge

ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
Customer Specific Requirements.
Quality Management Systems and internal audit processes.
APQP and PPAP requirements.
PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and risk assessment.
Corrective Action and problem-solving processes.
Contract review and project management.
Engineering Change processes.
Manufacturing processes and quality principles.
Calibration and measurement systems.
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio/WebPublish.

Skills

Working Conditions

Work is performed in both an office and manufacturing environment.
Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions including dirt and noise.
Regular interaction with production areas and manufacturing personnel.
May require occasional extended hours to support audits, customer requirements, quality issues, or operational needs.
