What You Should Know
Location: Toronto, ON (client homes)
Shift: Thursdays & Fridays 4pm-8pm (other opportunites available)
What You’ll Do
Personal Support & Daily Care
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair)
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
- Provide medication reminders and help monitor daily routines
- Complete daily care reports and communicate observations to the Case Manager or healthcare team
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and provide reassurance
- Promote comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being
- PSW Certificate required
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PSW experience
- Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) or Non-Violent Crisis Prevention preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Ability to use a mobile phone for documentation and time tracking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Second language is an asset
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to respond calmly to unexpected situations

Requirements
A PSW certificate, at least one year of caregiving or PSW experience, and CPR/First Aid certification are required. GPA or Non-Violent Crisis Prevention training is preferred; candidates should also be reliable, compassionate, comfortable using a mobile phone for documentation, and have strong communication skills.
