Position: Aircraft Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Dorval, QC, Canada, H4S 1Y9

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite

Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Industry: Aerospace / Aviation

Role Overview

The role will support aircraft-level cybersecurity engineering, certification, and continuing airworthiness activities. The engineer will work closely with avionics, systems engineering, airworthiness, suppliers, certification teams, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

Define and manage aircraft and system-level cybersecurity requirements.

Perform cybersecurity threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments for aircraft systems.

Review supplier system architectures and cybersecurity compliance documentation.

Support penetration testing, security verification, and validation activities.

Investigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and incidents affecting aircraft systems.

Develop mitigation strategies and support corrective actions.

Support aircraft cybersecurity certification and continuing airworthiness activities.

Work with Avionics, Systems Engineering, RMAS, Airworthiness,

Completions, Customer Support, and supplier teams.

Maintain and improve aircraft cybersecurity engineering processes.

Support compliance documentation and interaction with certification authorities.

Key Experience / Skills

Aerospace/aircraft systems or avionics engineering experience.

Aircraft cybersecurity or product cybersecurity experience.

Aircraft-level cybersecurity risk assessment and threat analysis.

Cybersecurity architecture and supplier assessment.

Certification and airworthiness experience.

Knowledge of CS-25.1319 and AMC 20-42.

Experience with standards such as DO-326B / ED-202B, DO-356A / ED-203A, DO-355A / ED-204A, DO-391, and DO-392 is highly desirable.

Understanding of avionics/system development and certification standards such as ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254.

Experience supporting cybersecurity verification, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or incident investigation is an asset.
