Role Overview:
A practical, business-minded technology leader who maximises value from the company’s systems, data, and technology partners, and uses technology and AI to create value internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and deliver technology and business systems priorities
- Lead ERP, CRM, reporting, analytics and data quality initiatives
- Turn business needs into clear requirements and practical recommendations
- Oversee external IT, software, telecom and cybersecurity partners (service levels, priorities, costs)
- Support information security, access controls, business continuity and risk management
- Ensure secure, reliable tools for office, field and remote employees
- Manage technology budgets, licensing, renewals and roadmaps
Must-Have Skills:
- Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience
- 7+ years in IT or business systems, including 3+ years accountable for an ERP in distribution, wholesale or supply chain
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, reporting and analytics, information security and access controls
- Experience managing outsourced IT providers and software vendors
- Strong business judgment and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience testing and applying AI tools
- Post-secondary education in business, information systems, engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience
