Original job description

Launch Your Sales Career with Indusflow Systems

Sales Development Representative | Build relationships. Open doors. Shape your future.

Ready to kick-start the sales career you have been dreaming about? Join Indusflow Systems, a managed IT services company in the Greater Toronto Area powered by strong customer relationships, practical innovation, and a team that wants you to succeed.

The Opportunity

As our Sales Development Representative, you will create the conversations that fuel our growth. You will connect with decision-makers, earn their attention, uncover opportunities, and book qualified first-time appointments for our leadership team. Our company principals will take the opportunities you open and help move them toward the finish line.

What You Will Do

· Build a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting and relationship development.

· Reach decision-makers through cold calls, thoughtful outreach, conference and event networking, and memorable in-person “dounut runs.”

· Ask smart questions, learn what matters to prospective clients, and create a strong first impression.

· Book at least four qualified first-time appointments per month.

· Use HubSpot to manage activity, contacts, follow-ups, and pipeline visibility.

· Work closely with company leadership as opportunities move from introduction to close.

Compensation That Rewards Results

· Starting base salary: $45,000–$60,000, depending on experience.

· Appointment incentive: $100 for every qualified first-time appointment booked.

· Sales incentive: A percentage of first-year sales revenue closed through your introductions.

· Year 2 growth: Expect your base salary to increase to at least $70,000 as you demonstrate results and grow in the role.

Qualifications

· One to three years of experience in sales development or business development, including experience selling or supporting managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud services, or a closely related business technology offering.

· Demonstrated ability to initiate conversations, follow up consistently, and work toward measurable activity and appointment targets.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and personable approach.

· Comfort using Microsoft 365 and a CRM such as HubSpot; experience with sales prospecting tools is an asset.

· Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Legally eligible to work in Canada.

· Able to travel locally for client visits, networking events, conferences, and in-person prospecting activities.

You Will Thrive Here If You Are

· A positive, people-focused connector who genuinely enjoys meeting others.

· Curious, confident, and comfortable starting conversations.

· Experienced in cold outreach, relationship building, or another sales environment.

· An excellent written and verbal communicator.

· Accountable, self-directed, and committed to personal development.

· Comfortable learning and using HubSpot or a similar CRM.

· Knowledgeable in a particular industry or ready to develop a focused market specialty.

Markets You Can Explore

Our clients span manufacturing, distribution, nonprofits, professional services, legal, accounting, human resources, healthcare, and long-term care. If you already understand one of these sectors, you can turn that knowledge into an advantage. If not, we will help you find and develop a market where you can excel.

More Than a Sales Job

You will join a positive, development-focused workplace invested in your success. Our vision is to help you become an entrepreneurial salesperson who can build a market, create lasting client relationships, and grow into greater responsibility, including the opportunity to lead the sales efforts of a future location.

Ready to Open the Next Door?

If you are ambitious, personable, and ready to turn conversations into opportunities, we want to hear from you. Apply to join Indusflow Systems and start building a sales career with room to grow.

How to Apply

We want to understand more than what appears on your résumé. To be considered, please submit both of the following:

1. A tailored cover letter explaining why this specific opportunity interests you, why you believe you would succeed as our Sales Development Representative, and the vision you have for yourself over the next three to five years. Help us understand what motivates you, what you hope to build, and how this role fits into that journey.

2. A video of no more than five minutes introducing yourself in your own words. Briefly share your background, the experiences that have prepared you for a sales development role, why you want to join Indusflow Systems, and what you believe you would bring to our team. You do not need professional production. Clear video + audio, a straightforward recording, and an authentic introduction are all we expect.
