Job Description

This role is based in our Toronto Office

We are seeking dynamic Marketing Coordinators to join our teams for the One Of A Kind Show and the Interior Design Show (IDS). In these roles, you will play a pivotal part in executing innovative marketing campaigns, driving audience engagement, and delivering impactful multi-channel marketing strategies.

As the Marketing Coordinator for the One Of A Kind Show, you will focus on executing marketing campaigns designed to grow target audiences and client databases, secure consent to market, and encourage prospects to engage with relevant Informa content. You will develop and deliver a variety of multi-channel marketing activities while driving community engagement. Your efforts will be instrumental in increasing community membership, boosting web traffic, and driving conversions.

For the Interior Design Show (IDS), you will be responsible for strategizing and executing marketing campaigns to grow and engage our audiences. This includes developing and delivering a diverse range of multi-channel marketing activities. Additionally, you will plan and manage paid campaigns, foster community engagement, oversee localized content calendars, build strategic partnerships, and drive web traffic to maximize ticket sale conversions.

The key objective of the role is to execute marketing campaigns that drive target prospects to engage with our events and gain real traction.

Partner with colleagues, brand partners, and external agencies to define marketing tactics along the customer journey, build brand awareness and consideration, and drive the acquisition of new audiences.
Plan and execute paid advertising buy planning, outreach and execution
Develop and cultivate influencer and partner relationships in key markets
Partner with external and internal resources to develop and execute community and engagement content including an impactful content calendar executed through various media (e.g. roundtable events; webinars; op-eds; news insights).
Establish automated email streams in Adestra across all consumer events and work with show teams to establish nurturing streams.
Write, design and set up/launch prospect and customer engagement e-mail marketing activities using Eloqua or Adestra email tool.
Manage marketing lists and follow database best practices.
Manage day-to-day social content using social media deployment platform (Sprinklr); develop and plan social media strategy, execute all planned social posts, and manage community across all platforms.
Manage website updates via Core/AEM tool (ongoing updates and uploads).
Work with internal resources, external agencies and partners to develop campaign creative work and produce event signage and advertising.
Ensure that all market-facing materials are on brand according to brand guidelines.
Maximize usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
Be accountable for the allocated marketing budget.
Provide weekly and monthly reporting and recommendations for optimization on marketing campaigns and social engagement to key stakeholders.
Be present at select shows in person to support show execution.
Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and make recommendations on what can be improved.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in Campaign Management, executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire, and solicits action.
Experience in paid advertising strategy, planning, and execution with strong results.
2+ years of application of marketing digital metrics in day-to-day work.
2+ years of experience in e-mail marketing. Experience designing email marketing campaign automated flows, lead nurturing streams, managing lists.
Proven ability to write content for social media, email, and web pages– samples will be requested.
Knowledge of digital marketing, social marketing, content marketing, e-mail marketing.
Graphic design and video editing skills considered an asset.
Understanding of design and marketing/advertising creative principles – ability to judge quality of creative ad design.
Community management background / driving organic social media engagement.
Content marketing experience: art of using relevant, engaging content to attract and nurture prospects through the buyer journey.
Strong relationship management and ability to nurture relationships with community members as well as collaborate across teams internally.
Can demonstrate an entrepreneurial collaborative approach, bringing fresh and exciting ideas for marketing growth campaigns or new content/community initiatives.
Prior experience in working cross functionally and being able to synthesize feedback in a concise and informative manner.
Prior experience of coordinating projects, ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
2+ years practical experience of collateral production and design.
Previous experience or training with CORE/AEM, Adestra/Eloqua, InFront.
Experience with promoting events and digital activities that generate engagement.
