Original job description

Infosys is hiring a Senior Sales Director to focus on hunting and implement pro-active New Business Development activities for our Energy, Utilities, Resources and Professional Services practice across Canada.

The Senior Sales Director will grow net new business and a strategic new enterprise account pipeline. Requires understanding of market and competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in conjunction with project teams. A good Sales Hunter is keen to get their hands dirty and actively helps the team develop value propositions based on a firm understanding of opportunity areas at, Energy, Utilities, Services and Natural Resources firms.

Description

Responsible for identifying and closing new deals in the energy, oil and gas, resources domain
Be the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisor
Leverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to develop solutions that address the client’s business problems
Ground-breaking force behind developing platform solutions specifically geared energy and natural resources accounts

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
7+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in service industry
Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and large deal experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant new business development experience selling IT services
Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organization
Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

History of achieving/overachieving new account sales targets (opening new logos)
Experience in S/W contract negotiations
Experience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysis
Ability to define specific and ground-breaking solutions within abstract environments
Well networked within the IT services industry
Ability to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client partners

Compensation Range for this role is; 250,079 to 305,652 CAD
