Change Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead change management initiatives for a large-scale transformation project within the public sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in change management strategies, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and organizational adoption, with experience in Ontario Public Sector (OPS) and healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management strategies, frameworks, and plans to support successful project delivery.
- Conduct stakeholder assessments, develop engagement strategies, and manage resistance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and implement communication, training, coaching, and sponsor engagement plans.
- Identify potential change impacts, people-related risks, and barriers to adoption, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to build consensus and support organizational change.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, presentations, and group sessions to encourage engagement and alignment.
- Establish success metrics to measure adoption, utilization, and proficiency, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Provide expert advice on change management methodologies, industry standards, best practices, and tools.
- Ensure change management activities align with project objectives and organizational modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in change management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Experience developing change management strategies, communication plans, and training plans.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals and the project lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive reports, briefing materials, proposals, and presentations.
- Strong consulting, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Ontario Public Sector (OPS) and healthcare or clinical environments.
- Experience leading medium to large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience assessing business process and technology impacts to support change adoption.
- Experience developing targeted change plans, including communications, coaching, training, and resistance management.
- Experience defining and tracking change adoption, utilization, and proficiency metrics.
- Experience supporting healthcare stakeholder engagement and understanding privacy and security requirements in healthcare technology environments.
Work Arrangement
This is an onsite contract opportunity requiring attendance at the designated office from Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
