Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Partnerships Manager to develop and grow retail partnerships. This role will drive initiatives from concept through execution, develop compelling business cases, and influence senior leaders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute partnership strategies and new initiatives, from concept through implementation.
- Build compelling business cases, strategic recommendations, and executive presentations to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Identify partnership opportunities through market and competitive analysis and develop actionable strategies.
- Build and manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and successful execution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, campaigns, and partnership activations.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, with a strong bias for action.
Must-Have
- 5–15 years of experience in strategy, consulting, customer strategy, partnerships, business development, or a related field.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent executive communication, influence, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Proven experience developing business cases and taking ideas from concept to execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing competing priorities.
- Significant Canadian market experience.
- Experience with large, complex, or top-tier organizations.
Preferred Background
Strategy Managers, Tier-1 Management Consultants, Customer Strategy Managers, or Partnership Strategy & Execution professionals.
Financial services/banking experience is an asset.
