Ingenio is supporting a leading international law firm with the appointment of a Global Head of Digital Strategy & Transformation.

This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Global Chief Operating Officer, with significant exposure to the Board and wider executive leadership team. The successful candidate will lead the firm's digital transformation strategy, bringing together business applications, data, AI, automation and digital client services to deliver measurable business improvements.

This is not a traditional IT infrastructure or operational technology role. An established CTO is responsible for those areas. The focus of this appointment is on strategy, development, transformation and execution.

The Opportunity

You will take responsibility for developing and delivering a global digital transformation strategy across legal, corporate and trust services. Working with senior business stakeholders, you will turn commercial and operational challenges into practical technology solutions that improve efficiency, client experience and service delivery.

You'll inherit an established application development team and will be responsible for developing its capabilities as the transformation programme progresses.

Significant projects are already underway, including a major entity-management platform initiative, a broader data management and analytics programme, and opportunities to extend the use of AI and automation across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a global digital strategy and transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Lead and develop the existing Business Technology and Application Development team.
• Own the business applications roadmap, including entity management and client-facing technology solutions.
• Oversee the design, development and delivery of new systems, whether built internally, purchased or delivered through external partners.
• Drive the data strategy, analytics, reporting and business intelligence agenda.
• Identify and implement practical AI and automation opportunities across legal and professional services.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in senior digital transformation and business technology leaders from professional services, legal, fiduciary/corporate services, financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments.

You will bring:

• Significant experience leading digital strategy, business technology or enterprise transformation.
• A proven track record of delivering complex technology programmes with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong experience across business applications, software development and technology-enabled process improvement.
• A solid understanding of data strategy, analytics, business intelligence, AI and automation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary development teams and managing external delivery partners.
• The ability to influence Board-level stakeholders while remaining technically credible and close to delivery.

Location & Package

Toronto is the mandatory location, with this being an in-office role.
