ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Talent & Culture team is seeking an experienced, highly proactive and business-oriented Talent Acquisition Advisor to lead the delivery of recruitment activities across our North American workforce, supporting Montréal, Toronto, New York, and remote U.S. locations.

As the primary Talent Acquisition partner for North America, you will own full-cycle recruitment across a broad range of business-critical functions, including investment operations, technology, client-facing teams, and corporate services. You will partner closely with hiring managers, advise on talent strategies and selection decisions, proactively build talent pipelines, and deliver a consistent and engaging candidate experience. In this high-impact role you will partner closely with North American Talent & Culture leadership, People Operations, HRIS, hiring managers, and Talent & Culture colleagues in other regions to respond to evolving business needs and continuously strengthen our recruitment practices. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner for North America, maintaining oversight of hiring priorities and recruitment activity across Canada and the U.S.
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake, job postings, sourcing, resume review, screening interviews, interview coordination, assessments, reference and background checks, offers, and candidate communications.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and support well-informed hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for key technology, investment, corporate, and business roles through targeted sourcing, networking, referrals and market research.
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives that strengthen Innocap’s visibility in key talent markets.
  • Provide hiring managers with thoughtful candidate assessments, talent market insights, and practical guidance on recruitment practices and selection decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment records, candidate information, process documentation, and reporting in Workday and other recruitment tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, reporting, hiring manager engagement, and candidate experience through data, stakeholder feedback, and market insights, while supporting broader Talent & Culture initiatives and projects as needed.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; CRHA designation is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) Talent Acquisition, including independent ownership of end-to-end recruitment processes and the ability to advise hiring managers on recruitment strategies and selection decisions.
  • Experience recruiting technology professionals is strongly preferred; experience in financial services or another complex, professional environment is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, and deliver high-quality outcomes with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong advisory and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to guide hiring managers, provide meaningful candidate insights, and constructively influence hiring decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, given the international nature of the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning and leveraging emerging technologies, sourcing tools, reporting solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HR technologies, and sourcing tools; experience with Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter is an asset.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working within a small, hands-on team, partnering across regions, and contributing to broader Talent & Culture priorities when needed.

Please note that the role is hybrid (mix of remote and in-office).
