Joining us as a Supply Chain Manager means applying your strong leadership, strategic mindset, and business acumen to make a meaningful impact on our operations.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading all sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and shipping activities to ensure a reliable supply chain, optimize costs, and support the company's growth objectives. You will play a key role in supplier development, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
On a Daily Basis, You Will
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies while managing relationships with North American and international suppliers.
- Oversee purchasing, materials planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations in support of production requirements.
- Coordinate supplier qualification and regulated supplier or component changes with Quality & Regulatory and Engineering.
- Own inbound and outbound logistics, customer shipping, transportation, customs, brokerage, and freight management.
- Manage carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
- Ensure import, export, customs, and shipping documentation requirements are met.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of Canadian, U.S., European, and other applicable shipping requirements to support Hazloc’s markets
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor key supply chain KPIs, mitigate supply risks, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Travel within North America and internationally as required, typically approximately 5–10%.
Profil De Candidat Recherché
You're the person we're looking for if you:
- Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, logistics, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Have at least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Demonstrate experience with strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier management, inventory control, material planning, warehousing, and cost reduction.
- Demonstrate experience leading employees, and building a strong shop-floor safety culture, including hazard identification, safe work practices, incident follow-up, and corrective action.
- Have experience sourcing from North American and overseas suppliers and managing international freight, customs, brokers, tariffs, and import/export documentation.
- Have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and knowledge of ISO 9001, hazardous-location products, or pressure equipment is considered an asset.
- Have experience with MRP systems or ERP/MRP system implementation is considered a strong asset.
