Original job description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven SAP Software Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP software sales, ERP sales, enterprise software sales, IT services, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions and a strong ability to develop relationships with enterprise customers.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, understanding their business requirements, and positioning relevant SAP solutions and enterprise technology services to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for SAP solutions, ERP, enterprise software, and IT services.
Generate leads through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, email, phone calls, networking, referrals, and other business development channels.
Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and build relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, procurement teams, and business stakeholders.
Understand customer business challenges and recommend appropriate SAP solutions and digital transformation offerings.
Sell SAP-related solutions/services including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud solutions, SAP implementation, consulting, AMS, and related enterprise technology services, based on business requirements.
Conduct discovery calls and client meetings to understand requirements, budgets, timelines, and decision-making processes.
Coordinate with SAP pre-sales, consulting, technical, and delivery teams for solution discussions, demonstrations, proposals, and presentations.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently work toward monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue/business development targets.
Prepare and present sales proposals, commercial quotations, presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and other client-facing documents.
Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, activity, and customer information in CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar platforms.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Participate in industry events, webinars, conferences, networking activities, and other demand-generation initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, SAP ecosystem developments, and emerging enterprise technology trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SAP Sales, ERP Sales, Software Sales, Enterprise Sales, IT Sales, SaaS Sales, or Technology Business Development.
Strong understanding of the enterprise software / SAP sales lifecycle.
Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and closing.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to engage with business and technology decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise organizations.
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar tools.
Strong consultative selling and solution-selling approach.
Ability to understand customer business requirements and translate them into appropriate technology solutions.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience selling SAP solutions, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP implementation, SAP consulting, or SAP AMS services.
Experience selling ERP, SaaS, cloud, digital transformation, or IT consulting services.
Existing network or experience working with enterprise/corporate clients.
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn prospecting, email campaigns, cold calling, and account-based prospecting.
Familiarity with consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
MBA or relevant sales/technology qualification is an advantage.
