Original job description

Welcome to IBG! IBG (Innovative Beauty Group) is a global one-stop beauty shop. By partnering with our clients as an extension of their teams, we bring beauty visions to life. IBG consists of more than 300 colleagues spread over 13 locations worldwide.

IBG North America specializes in turnkey solutions, private label and packaging in the beauty industry. Together, we are concept builders and boosters with global opportunities for well-known retailers and brands.

Centdegrés is building a new kind of creative studio in North America - one that operates at the intersection of strategy, design, content, and product innovation.

The Account Manager is responsible for building trusted client relationships and leading the delivery of creative services that meet client objectives and drive profitable growth for Innovative Beauty Group. As the primary connection between clients and internal teams, this role translates business needs into clear creative briefs, guides projects from concept through execution, and ensures exceptional attention to detail at every stage. Combining an engaging, relationship-focused approach with strong business acumen, the Account Manager balances creative excellence, client satisfaction, and commercial performance. The scope of account ownership and strategic leadership will reflect the appointed level.

This is for a new role.

In this role, you will:

Client Relationships & Account Leadership

Own day-to-day client relationships, serving as a responsive, knowledgeable partner who understands each client’s business, priorities, brand, and expectations.
Build trust through an engaging, professional approach, proactive communication, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and account reviews, clearly communicating recommendations, project progress, decisions, and next steps.
Translate client feedback into constructive, actionable direction for internal teams while protecting the integrity of the creative brief.

Anticipate client needs, resolve concerns promptly, and identify opportunities to strengthen long-term partnerships and increase agency revenue.

Creative Project Delivery & Quality

Translate client objectives into clear briefs, defined scopes of work, deliverables, budgets, and realistic timelines.
Partner with Creative, Studio Traffic, Marketing, Sales, and other relevant teams to guide projects from initial brief through final delivery.
Review client-facing materials for accuracy, completeness, brand alignment, and consistency with approved requirements before release.
Manage feedback, revisions, and approvals, maintaining clear documentation and flagging scope changes or delivery risks early.

Business Acumen & Account Growth

Develop a strong understanding of account revenue, project costs, pricing, and profitability to support sound commercial decisions.
Prepare and manage proposals, estimates, and scopes of work in partnership with the appropriate internal stakeholders.
Monitor budgets and scope throughout delivery, documenting changes and securing appropriate approvals before additional work proceeds.
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and introduce relevant IBG capabilities that address client needs and create sustainable value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

Align internal teams around client priorities, clear responsibilities, and agreed deliverables, ensuring commitments are realistic and achievable.

Maintain accurate account records, project updates, and revenue forecasts to support planning and leadership visibility.

Resolve competing priorities with sound judgment, escalating issues with practical recommendations rather than allowing surprises.

Share client insights and market feedback to strengthen creative recommendations, service quality, and ways of working.

Lead strategic account planning, senior client relationships, and coaching of account team members, as applicable.

About you:

University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of relevant account management or client services experience within a creative services business, advertising agency, design agency, or comparable environment in addition to work experience in a corporate environment.
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and delivering creative projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Proven commercial capability, including experience with proposals, project budgets, scope management, and account growth; Must bring experience leading strategic accounts and influencing senior stakeholders.
Beauty, personal care, cosmetics, packaging or related consumer brand experience is a requirement.
A track record of building strong partnerships, delivering high-quality work, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

What we offer

You will enjoy being part of an energetic and hands-on team, excited about beauty and home care. You will work with passionate and talented colleagues who inspire and support each other. We have fun and celebrate successes together, but we are also not afraid to roll up our sleeves and get the job done.

On top of that you will get:

A competitive total rewards package with a salary range of $75,000-$95,000 depending on experience
A comprehensive health/dental and retirement savings plan with employer match
To work in a hybrid environment with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely
An international working environment full of energy, beauty and growth
Opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally.
Of course, a great bunch of colleagues.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled tools may be used to support certain aspects of the recruitment process. While these tools assist our teams, our use of AI does not replace human decision making, and all final hiring decisions are made by authorized human personnel.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and all employees have the opportunity to thrive. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences, and encourage applications from individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, and other identities. If you require accommodation at any stage of the hiring process, please let us know by contacting us at hr-northamerica@group-ibg.com so we can work with you to meet your needs.
