Inpho’s new class of electro-photonic chips is poised to revolutionize and disrupt the optical interconnect market. Utilizing this new class of chips enables existing optical interconnect systems to be built at much lower cost; new architectures to be deployed that provide significantly higher price/performance; and a whole new generation of higher speed interconnect to be built that to date have been impossible.
About the Role
We are seeking an NPI Program Manager to lead and drive the successful transition of Inpho’s products from design through to volume manufacturing. This role will manage products through the development process working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, delivering the product to the market quickly, cost effectively, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Guide multi-disciplinary teams across R&D, operations, and supply chain including contract manufactures.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Manage product lifecycles from early planning and prototype builds through qualification and volume manufacturing ramp.
• Operation: Manage project to ensure supply chain readiness, capacity readiness, track BOM costs and yield improvements to hit margin targets.
• Timeline Management: Define project scope, create detailed schedules, and track major milestones. Follow company gate review process.
• Budget Ownership: Manage project expenses, resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years experience in NPI experience managing complex product launches.
- Extensive fiber optics industry experience and broad knowledge of electronics, photonics, and
optical communications are strong assets for success in this role.
- Proven ability to balance ambitious design timelines with manufacturing constraints and drive programs from prototype through production.
- Proven tracking record of influencing external vendors and managing global contract manufacturing partners.

Additional Information
This posting is for a newly created position.
The expected compensation range for this position is CAD$115,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation offered for this position will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, level, experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
