JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for an experienced AVEVA PI Implementation Consultant / Project Manager to support a large-scale implementation within a utility, power and engineering environment. The candidate will have hands-on experience implementing AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI implementation and a strong understanding of PI Server, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, data historians, and operational/OT data environments.
This individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the full PI implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution/configuration activities, integration, data migration, testing/UAT, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live hypercare. The successful candidate should bring a combination of technical PI knowledge, project management, and business analysis skills, with experience managing vendors, stakeholders, risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on project experience implementing AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI
- Understanding of PI Server, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, historians, and operational data
- Experience managing the full implementation lifecycle: requirements, configuration, integration, migration, testing/UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare, which aligns with implementation experience you've recruited for previously.
- Strong project management / business analysis capabilities
- Vendor, risk, issue, dependency, timeline, and stakeholder management experience
- Experience integrating operational/OT data with other enterprise platforms
- Utility, power, energy, or industrial experience strongly preferred
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- PMP would be a strong nice-to-have
