Location: Guelph, ON
Employment: 12-Month Contract + Extension/Conversion
Rate: $22-$26
Insight Global is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join a leading Canadian insurance and financial services organization. This candidate will support the creation of clear and actionable requirements, workflows, and procedures to enable the successful delivery of new or enhanced digital applications. Working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, this role helps ensure alignment with digital standards, agile development practices, and program objectives. The analyst will gather and document business and technology needs, investigate issues using sound judgment, and recommend practical solutions. They will assist in design, development, and testing activities by providing business context and subject‑matter insight, while also creating process and data models to inform reporting metrics. Additionally, the Junior Business Analyst will identify opportunities to improve existing procedures, forms, and workflows to enhance efficiency and overall solution quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in a business management/effectiveness capacity in a digital environment
- Strong Business/systems knowledge and comprehension of applications, procedures, and workflows
- Analytical background working with digital tools with experience in an agile environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
