Business Readiness & Cutover Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION

IG is looking for an experienced Business Readiness & Cutover Lead to support a major SAP S/4HANA implementation within a regulated manufacturing environment. This person will lead business-side readiness and cutover activities, ensuring operations, data, people, systems, and dependencies are prepared for a successful go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute the consolidated Business Readiness and Business Cutover Plans, aligning them with the Technical Cutover Plan.

-Coordinate across business, manufacturing, supply chain, data migration, interfaces, validation, infrastructure, training, support, and other workstreams.

-Lead transactional data cleansing and migration readiness, tracking data quality, remediation activities, risks, and business ownership.

-Own the consolidated Go/No-Go criteria, assign owners, monitor readiness, escalate gaps, and provide clear updates to decision-making teams.

-Plan the operational ramp-down, freeze, restart, and gradual ramp-up, minimizing downtime across production and supply chain.

-Coordinate business readiness for the restart of critical interfaces and confirm that key business flows are stable before transaction volumes increase.

-Prepare the organization for Hypercare, including support roles, escalation procedures, command-centre readiness, stabilization metrics, and coverage for three-shift production operations.

-Maintain readiness trackers and dashboards, identify issues, and drive stakeholders toward timely resolution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-10+ years of ERP experience, including at least one SAP S/4HANA project.

-Experience supporting 3–5 major SAP go-lives.

-Hands-on experience leading business readiness, business cutover, and production go-live activities.

-Experience coordinating multiple workstreams in a complex implementation.

-Experience with go-lives where manufacturing and supply chain continuity are business-critical.

-Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to drive accountability in a collaborative, adaptable manner.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience.

-Experience in a GxP-regulated environment.

-Computer System Validation (CSV).

-Data Migration and Master Data Management (MDM).

-Go-live command-centre management.

Compensation:

$72/hr to $140/hr
