D365 F&O Developer

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a D365 F&O Developer for a top ERP-focused client for 2 month project-based work. This candidate will join the ERP Development team to design, build, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.

The role will focus heavily on X++ development, D365 F&O extensions, SQL troubleshooting, and web-service integrations using REST, SOAP, and OData. The developer will partner closely with functional analysts, technical leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions while supporting debugging, performance optimization, releases, and production issues. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on D365 F&O developer looking to own meaningful ERP enhancements in a collaborative technical environment.

Day-to-Day:

• Develop and maintain X++ extensions, custom services, and business logic within D365 F&O
• Build and support REST, SOAP, and OData web-service integrations
• Handle integration data mapping and error resolution
• Use SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting across connected systems
• Debug technical issues and optimize application performance
• Support testing, releases, deployments, and production issue resolution
• Maintain technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews, source control, and change management through Azure DevOps
• Partner with functional analysts, technical leads, and business process owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Must-Haves:

• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) development experience
• Strong X++ development experience, including extensions and custom business logic
• Experience building and supporting REST, SOAP, and/or OData integrations
• Strong SQL and relational database experience for analysis and troubleshooting
• Understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data entities, security, and development standards
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, testing, and controlled code deployments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with functional and technical teams

Pay Transparency: $87 - $100 CAD/hour
