Role: Data Center Engineering Operations Lead
Length: 6 month contract + extensions/conversion to FTE
Location: Varennes, QC
Shift Schedule: 12 hour shift. Rotation schedule. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc. one week worker will work 36hours and next 48hours (Rotation) Shift will be 6am to pm or 6pm to 6am (Rotation)
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment
- Understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations such as: generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units
- Bilingual in French and English required. Must have the ability to read and speak/communicate in French and read/write/speak/communicate fluently in English with respect to complex technical instructions and concepts
- Excellent communication and attitude to take ownership of work and lead junior team members
- Bachelor or College degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Field
- Must have reliability security clearance with Government of Canada or be able to clear upon hire
