Must Haves:

• 3–5+ years of digital product management, product ownership, or technology product delivery experience within financial services
• Strong understanding of retail banking transactions, including deposits, payments, holds, reversals, exceptions, and funds movement
• Experience independently leading complex initiatives through the full delivery lifecycle
• Agile methodology experience
• Jira & Confluence
• Experience with complex IT delivery processes, APIs, back-end systems, and platform integrations
• Experience with requirements, backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience supporting business/UAT testing and production validation
• Strong analytical mindset, including using data and calculating benefits to guide product decisions
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead assigned initiatives and features within the Money Movement Pod of the Retail Assisted Channels Platform for a Big 5 banking client. The platform enables frontline employees to help customers access, deposit, and move funds while balancing customer and employee experience with financial and risk controls.

Working within the vision, roadmap, and strategic direction established by the Senior Product Owner, the successful candidate will independently lead meaningful pieces of work from discovery through production rollout. This is a hands-on product delivery role, rather than a coordinator or supporting Business Analyst position, requiring strong transactional knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to drive work across business, experience, and technology teams.

The portfolio includes cheque deposits and processing, cheque holds and SmartHolds, funds availability, payment controls, and the modernization of existing money movement capabilities across both the user experience and underlying technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently lead assigned initiatives from discovery and experience definition through requirements, design, backlog readiness, sprint delivery, testing, production validation, pilot, and rollout.
• Develop a strong understanding of transaction flows, including deposits, payments, holds, reversals, exceptions, financial controls, and downstream impacts.
• Define the end-to-end platform experience in partnership with Designers, Content specialists, Business Analysts, business sponsors, Technology, and QA.
• Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own backlog readiness and prioritize sprint-ready work within the roadmap and priorities established by the Senior Product Owner.
• Lead product refinement, PO reviews, sprint reviews, product acceptance, and other Agile product ceremonies.
• Work closely with Technology to understand how frontline experiences interact with APIs, back-end systems, and complex platform integrations.
• Make day-to-day product and scope decisions while escalating material trade-offs, experience concerns, risks, or blockers when required.
• Guide business and product testing strategies, ensuring end-to-end journeys, exception scenarios, and critical transaction paths are appropriately validated.
• Coordinate UAT and production validation, assessing defects and experience gaps from a business and product perspective.
• Develop and lead pilot and rollout strategies, including readiness criteria, success measures, frontline feedback, and recommendations for broader deployment.
• Track delivery against committed milestones and proactively resolve issues, dependencies, and experience gaps.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recommended paths forward to the Senior Product Owner and key stakeholders.

Pay Rate: $72-80/hr
