EDI Developer

Insight Global is seeking an EDI Analyst / Integration Specialist to support a growing EDI environment within a high-volume warehouse and distribution operation.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on the end-to-end development, implementation, and support of EDI integrations. The successful candidate will work with ERP data, develop EDI mappings and transactions, support file-based integrations, and troubleshoot data-flow and integration issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience building EDI transactions from the ground up, not just monitoring existing integrations, and understand how data moves from an ERP system through an EDI platform to customers and trading partners.

Required Skills & Experience

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on EDI Analysis or integration experience
• Experience developing EDI transactions from scratch, including mapping, data transformation, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Strong SQL skills, including writing queries to extract and manipulate ERP data
• Experience integrating EDI solutions with ERP systems
• EDI experience within warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or another high-volume transactional environment
• Experience supporting warehouse and/or supply-chain EDI transactions
• Strong understanding of ANSI X12 and common EDI standards
• Experience with EDI mapping, flat files, XML, file transfers, and SFTP integrations
• Experience with XML, XSLT, scripting, or similar data-transformation technologies
• Understanding of order-to-cash, inventory, fulfillment, and related business processes
• Working knowledge of APIs, cloud integration, or modern integration platforms
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Mississauga

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pronto ERP
• Experience writing or maintaining batch scripts
• Experience with Boomi or a comparable integration/iPaaS platform
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing/work-management tools
• English/French bilingualism is an asset

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support EDI transactions from end to end
• Build new EDI processes and enhance existing integrations
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate ERP data
• Transform ERP data into EDI, XML, and flat-file formats
• Develop and maintain EDI mappings and customer/trading-partner integrations
• Support batch-file, SFTP, and other file-based integration processes
• Monitor EDI transaction traffic and troubleshoot transmission failures, mapping errors, and data issues
• Support warehouse-related ANSI X12 transactions, including 944, 945, and 947
• Maintain trading-partner profiles, mapping documentation, specifications, and integration requirements
• Partner with business and technical teams to troubleshoot ERP, EDI, and transaction data-flow issues
• Support customer-specific EDI requirements across inventory, warehouse, shipping, and order-management processes
• Support the transition toward API-based, cloud, and modern integration platforms
• Document integrations, mappings, processes, and technical requirements
