JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that solve complex business challenges. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI, architecture, and consulting, requiring a hands-on technologist who can rapidly transform business needs into production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify AI use cases and solution opportunities.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and production-ready AI applications.
  • Develop solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Create APIs, integrations, and workflow orchestration patterns.
  • Partner with architecture teams to ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
  • Enable knowledge transfer and promote AI best practices across teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of software engineering, solution engineering, or AI engineering experience.
  • Strong Python development and API integration experience.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development and modern software architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder-facing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft AI ecosystem experience.
  • Experience building agentic AI applications and workflows.
  • Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure preferred).
  • Financial services experience, with priority to Wealth Management or Insurance Domain
