Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineering Lead to provide senior technical and program-level Quality Engineering leadership for complex, business-critical initiatives. Your initial assignment will be to lead Quality Engineering across our client's Commercial Banking Transformation program, followed by other strategic initiatives.
You will define and execute an integrated Quality Engineering approach across multiple workstreams, platforms, vendors, and delivery teams. You will ensure that quality, reliability, security, accessibility, performance, and production readiness are built into delivery and supported by clear, traceable evidence.
This is a senior, hands-on engineering leadership role rather than a traditional Quality Assurance Lead or test coordination position. You will lead Quality Engineers and workstream QE leads in a dotted-line capacity while contributing directly to automation strategy, API validation, technical problem-solving, quality governance, risk management, and delivery execution.
You must be comfortable moving between executive-level program reporting and detailed engineering discussions while bringing internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders together around a consistent and accountable approach to quality.

Requirements
The role requires senior Quality Engineering leadership, experience reporting to senior leaders and managing KPIs, program-level test planning, automation framework architecture knowledge, vendor management, and strong REST API testing. Experience using AI to improve work processes is required; commercial banking transformation, legacy-platform migration, data migration testing, Azure DevOps, and accessibility testing are desirable.
