Information Technology Network Administrator

Insight Global is seeking a IT Network Administrator to join their IT team. This position is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional with a strong cybersecurity focus who enjoys working in a complex enterprise environment and takes ownership of critical systems.

This individual will play a key role in maintaining and securing the firm's infrastructure, supporting disaster recovery initiatives, responding to security incidents, and driving continuous improvements across networking, cloud, server, storage, and security platforms.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can operate independently, collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and contribute to a high-performance, security-conscious technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Administration

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure including networking, servers, storage, backup systems, and security platforms.
• Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, VPNs, wireless networks, and remote access technologies.
• Support Microsoft server and cloud environments.
• Assist with virtualization, hardware deployments, storage management, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across the environment.

Security Operations

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts generated through:
• Sophos MDR
• Darktrace
• Microsoft Security solutions
• Email security platforms
• Participate in incident response activities and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Apply security patches and support ongoing environment hardening initiatives.
• Assist with phishing awareness campaigns, vulnerability management, and security reporting.
• Help enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Administer and maintain Veeam backup infrastructure.
• Perform backup validation and recovery testing.
• Support cloud and offsite backup integrations.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.

Operational Support

• Support identity and access management processes, including MFA and user provisioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure and security issues.
• Collaborate with vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide escalation support to Service Desk and end-user support teams.
• Participate in after-hours support activities when required.

Specialized Platform Support

• Support legal technology and eDiscovery platforms.
• Assist with Relativity-related networking, security, data transfer, and access management issues.
• Work closely with legal and business stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and security.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Technologies
• Backup & Recovery
• Strong experience across:
• Networking, Cybersecurity, Windows Servers, Storage Systems, Backup & Recovery, Cloud Services
• Strong understanding of:
• TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, Wireless Networking, VPN Technologies, Remote Access Solutions, Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with:
• Firewalls, Endpoint Protection Platforms, Email Security Solutions, IAM, MFA, Security Monitoring & Alert Investigation, Security Incident Response

NICE TO HAVE

• CISSP certification
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Data center infrastructure experience
• Encryption technologies
• Secure remote access solutions
• Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms
• Professional services, legal, financial, or healthcare industry experience
• Experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive environments

Work Environment:

This role will be 5 days on site during the probationary period. It will then go down to a 4 day/week onsite requirement.

Pay Transparency:

The expected Annual Salary for this position falls between $90,000 - $110,000 +any major perks
