Title: Junior Business Systems Analyst
Location: Hybrid - 2x per week - Gatineau/Montreal
Duration: 12 month contract + conversion to perm
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, HTML
- Demonstrated ability to work on project-based initiatives
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for process improvement
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Java Script experience
- Exposure to machine learning concepts or tools
- Prior experience in banking operations or financial services
- Internship/work experience in a business analyst/data centric role
- Bilingual English/French
Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions
- Support ongoing and new projects aimed at enhancing existing processes and static data structures
- Assist in the development and automation of workflows using tools like Power Automate
- Analyze and visualize data using Excel, Power BI, and SQL to support business decisions
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and presentation of findings to stakeholders
- Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery phases
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from business units

*Pay range for this role is between $25-28/hr CAD.
