Job Description
One of Canada's largest E-Commerce companies is seeking a Performance Engineer to join its team. This individual is being brought on to support the ongoing effort to augment load testing coverage of all the web properties. This individual will report to the DevOps, SRE and QA senior Manager and work alongside the development lead. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and able to problem-solve proactively, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions.

Responsibilities
Augment load-testing coverage across the company’s web properties, using JMeter as the organization’s standardized load-testing tool. Work alongside the development lead and report to the senior manager responsible for DevOps, SRE, and QA.
Requirements
Requires at least two years of experience as a performance engineer in a large enterprise, strong proficiency with JMeter, and prior experience with API testing and front page testing. Grafana experience, particularly building dashboards, is a plus; candidates should also be self-driven and proactive in identifying problems and proposing solutions.
