JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Product SME – Tableau to Power BI Migration to join a leading enterprise organization on a contract basis. This individual will play a key role in a strategic enterprise-wide initiative focused on migrating and commercializing reporting assets from Tableau to Power BI.
The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert across both Tableau and Power BI, partnering closely with business stakeholders, reporting teams, and technical teams throughout the migration lifecycle. This individual will assess existing Tableau dashboards, define migration strategies, identify functionality and feature gaps, and help ensure reporting solutions are successfully transitioned to Power BI while maintaining business value and driving user adoption.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms, with strong experience in both Tableau and Power BI
- Experience supporting or leading large-scale BI, reporting, analytics, or platform migration initiatives
- Strong understanding of data visualization, dashboard development, reporting, and analytics best practices
- Experience working as a Product SME, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise data and analytics initiatives
- Proven ability to partner across business and technology teams, gather requirements, manage stakeholders, and drive initiatives through delivery
- Experience working within regulated enterprise environments, such as banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, or similar industries
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Direct experience supporting a Tableau-to-Power BI migration
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with Databricks or comparable modern data platforms
- Agile, Product, or Project Management certifications such as CSPO, PMP, or SAFe
- Previous experience within the financial services industry
