Position: Delivery Lead, Talent Strategy Program

Location: Calgary or Toronto - hybrid 2 days on site

Type: Contract 12 months high possibility to extend

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead to support a large Canadian insurance organization as they execute a multi-year Talent Strategy focused on building the workforce capabilities required to achieve future growth objectives. The successful candidate will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic initiatives across five key pillars: Attract, Grow, Engage & Retain, Organize, and Plan. This individual will bring structure, governance, prioritization, and accountability to a portfolio of people-focused programs spanning workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy, capability development, organizational design, employee engagement, culture initiatives, and digital dexterity programs. A key focus of the role will be supporting the organization's AI and digital capability initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, facilitating planning sessions, managing project roadmaps, tracking deliverables, helping prioritize workstreams, and ensuring the appropriate resources, approvals, communications, and training plans are in place to drive successful adoption.

The Delivery Lead will work closely with HR leadership, executive sponsors, IT partners, learning teams, communications teams, and business stakeholders to translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops and governance meetings, managing project plans and dependencies, identifying risks and roadblocks, coordinating cross-functional teams, supporting change management and communication efforts, and bringing order to a complex portfolio of interconnected initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience leading enterprise-wide HR, workforce, organizational development, or business transformation programs and can effectively operate at both the strategic and execution levels, providing structure, guidance, and momentum while navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders across the organization. This is a 12 month contract with the high possibility of extension, with the expectation to be on site in Calgary or Toronto.

Required Skills

10+ years of Project/Program Management experience
HR transformation, talent strategy, or workforce planning experience
2+ years of Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience
Experience with strategic planning and program delivery
Strong facilitation, leadership skills and executive stakeholder management
Experience leading enterprise-wide people and process transformation initiatives
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution capabilities

Pay: 80-100/hr
