Intermediate Project Manager - IT Asset Management
Contract: 6 months + extensions
Hybrid: 1-2x per week in Toronto
Pay: $57-65/hr
We are seeking an experienced ITAM Project Manager to support an enterprise IT Asset Management transformation. This role will focus on project delivery, business requirements, stakeholder coordination, and the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
This is a project management/business-focused role, not a hands-on technical configuration position.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Business Project Management, Business Analysis, or a related role.
- Previous experience with ServiceNow HAM and SAM implementations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITAM and hardware/software asset lifecycle processes.
- Experience managing technology implementations from requirements gathering through testing and deployment.
- Strong project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and translating business needs into functional deliverables.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ServiceNow HAM/SAM implementation and enhancement projects.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Coordinate across business stakeholders, ServiceNow developers, technical teams, and ITAM resources.
- Support testing, UAT, change management, and implementation readiness.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve ITAM processes and governance.
- Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and executive updates.
Nice to Have
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Enterprise ITAM transformation or ServiceNow modernization experience.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB, ITIL, and IT asset governance.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification.
Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
