What they’ll do
- Design, develop, and enhance native Android applications supporting a top tier bank's Digital Investing experience.
- Build modern Android interfaces and features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Develop reusable, scalable mobile components with a focus on performance, stability, maintainability, and user experience.
- Partner with product, design, backend, QA, and other mobile developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, debugging, and production releases.
- Help establish and maintain strong Android engineering standards and development practices.
- Collaborate within an Agile engineering team to deliver digital investing functionality.
- Use AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
- Potentially contribute to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development and shared mobile functionality.
Must-haves
- Strong hands-on Kotlin development experience.
- Strong hands-on Jetpack Compose experience.
- Senior-level experience delivering production Android applications.
- Strong understanding of modern Android architecture and development practices.
- Ability to independently own development while working collaboratively across the team.
Nice-to-haves
- Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Financial services, wealth management, brokerage, trading, or investing experience.
