JOB DESCRIPTION: $95k-$110k/year - 5 days a week onsite in North York
Position Purpose
This forward-looking role is for an experienced senior analyst who can help shape the evolution of the Pro business and demonstrate readiness for broader leadership. It combines ongoing finance responsibilities with long-range projects, strategic planning, business partnership, and senior-level recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Finance Manager and business stakeholders on long-range projects and strategic planning.
- Assess future opportunities, including the customer loyalty journey and potential credit options for Pro customers.
- Act as a key finance partner, using data and insight to influence decisions.
- Contribute to monthly forecasting, semi-annual planning, financial studies, and projections with Canadian and U.S.-based finance partners.
- Prepare and present complex financial analysis in a concise, user-friendly format for senior management.
- Lead special projects, identify process improvements, and share best practices across Finance.
- Demonstrate leadership through initiative ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and sound judgment.
- Maintain required reporting while focusing primarily on forward-looking analysis and strategic value.

The Contractor Services & Pro Finance team is a trusted strategic partner to the Pro business, providing the financial insight, planning, and decision support needed to drive sustainable growth. The team supports a broad portfolio through financial planning and reporting, outside-sales partnership, and forward-looking strategic initiatives. Team members collaborate closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to translate financial data into clear recommendations, improve performance, and help shape the future of the Pro business. Working Environment & Technology
- Advanced Excel capability.
- Tableau or comparable data-visualization experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of financial analysis or financial business partner experience, with meaningful senior-level depth preferred.
- Expertise in business analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic problem solving.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau.
- Google BigQuery knowledge and experience with data-visualization tools.
- Demonstrated leadership through project ownership and stakeholder partnership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience demonstrating leadership through mentoring or guiding the work of others.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Gemini.
